Acceptance of Terms

By using Transleats ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Transleats is an AI-powered restaurant menu translator that lets you scan menus, view translations, and coordinate group orders with friends.

User Accounts

  • You must sign in with Google or Apple to use the App.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or unrelated to restaurant menus.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt or abuse the service.
  • Do not use the App for any automated or commercial scraping purposes.

AI Translations

Translations are generated by AI (Google Gemini) and may contain errors. The App does not guarantee the accuracy of translations. Always verify with restaurant staff if you have dietary restrictions or allergies.

Currency Conversion

Exchange rates are sourced from the European Central Bank (ECB) and are updated approximately once per day. Converted prices are approximate and may differ from actual exchange rates at the time of payment. Currency conversion is provided for reference only and should not be used for financial decisions.

Purchases & Fair Use

Day Pass purchases are non-renewing and activate immediately. Duration is calculated from the moment of purchase.

To ensure service quality for all users, Day Pass usage is subject to a fair use policy. Automated, scripted, or excessive usage beyond normal personal use may result in temporary rate limiting. Normal travel usage (translating menus at restaurants, markets, and food courts) is never affected.

Referral Program

  • Each account may only be referred once. Bonus translations are credited after the referred user completes their first menu analysis.
  • Bonus translations are non-transferable and have no monetary value.
  • Creating multiple accounts or using other deceptive means to exploit the referral program is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program and its rewards at any time.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process them for translation purposes. We do not use your photos for any other purpose.

Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from inaccurate translations, service interruptions, or data loss.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
